Katie Harvey MS, RD, LD
Katie Harvey (MS, RD, LD) is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Nutrition Coach, and Gluten-free Expert. Katie completed her Master’s degree and Dietetic Internship at the State University of New York at Oneonta. She has been licensed to practice in Florida since 2018. After licensure, she began working in a hospital as a clinical dietitian while also working with her own clients outside of the hospital. Katie was diagnosed with Celiac Disease as a teenager, and the role registered dietitians played in restoring her own health fueled a passion for helping others in a similar way. As a nutritionally challenged individual, she offers a unique empathy and perspective to every client. Katie’s other passions include horseback riding, weight lifting, baking, and spending time in the FL sunshine.
Katie believes in a flexible dieting approach and helps individuals adopt an “all foods fit” philosophy. She is dedicated to helping people eat in a way that makes them feel good, achieve their goals, and never feel restricted or deprived. She works with clients to help them learn how to fit their favorite foods into their diet while incorporating mindful eating practices. She provides clear diet education, macronutrient coaching, recipe suggestions, and practical modifications based on each individuals’ lifestyle.
Katie offers one-on-one counseling sessions both virtually and in-person. She provides evidence-based nutrition therapy to those who are dealing with various medical conditions. She is also knowledgeable in sports nutrition and intuitive eating coaching for clients who are looking to make positive lifestyle changes. Initial consults are one hour long and include a comprehensive assessment of diet, physical activity, medical history, medication regimen, and overall lifestyle. Based on this assessment, she develops a personalized plan while providing support and accountability. Follow-up sessions are 30-minutes long and will be used to evaluate progress and make necessary changes to each client’s nutrition strategy.
Katie’s goal is that her clients will learn sustainable habits while becoming the healthiest and happiest version of themselves.
